You keep your saved content. We keep the service running and don't sell your data. Don't use Zippet to break the law or to scrape other people's sites at scale. Either of us can end the relationship at any time.
1. Accepting these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Zippet. By creating an account, installing the browser extension, or using any part of the service, you agree to them. If you are using Zippet on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Zippet, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
2. Your account
Zippet accounts are created by signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping that Google account secure, and for everything that happens under your Zippet account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access.
One person, one account. You may not share credentials or resell access to Zippet.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- ·Use Zippet for anything illegal, or to store material you have no right to store.
- ·Bypass rate limits, or use the extension to bulk-scrape sites or circumvent paywalls.
- ·Reverse engineer, resell, or build a competing product from the service.
- ·Interfere with the service's security, availability, or other users' accounts.
4. Your content
Everything you save to Zippet (links, highlights, notes, files) stays yours. You grant Zippet a limited licence to store, index, summarise, and display that content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you. We do not use your saved content to train third-party models, and we do not sell it.
You can export your library at any time from account settings, and deleting your account deletes your content as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Plans and payment
Zippet has a free plan and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future charges and keeps your plan active until the end of the current period; we don't pro-rate partial periods.
If we change prices, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before the change applies to your subscription.
6. Our intellectual property
The Zippet software, name, logo, and design are ours. These terms don't give you any right to use them beyond using the service as intended.
7. Third-party services
Zippet relies on third parties for sign-in, hosting, payments, and search infrastructure. Their terms govern their own services. Zippet isn't responsible for the content of sites you save, or for changes those sites make to their content after you save it.
8. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, creates risk for other users, or is required to be closed by law. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to export your library.
9. Disclaimers
Zippet is provided as is. We work hard on reliability, but we don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that automatic summaries and tags will always be accurate. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Zippet is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. For material changes we'll email account holders and post a notice in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Zippet after that means you accept the updated terms.
